This is a photo of the final installation (minus the lights).

I think this image is really striking. This is one of my favourite pictures. I like how there is busy colourful sections and then plain open sections.

This is a photo I took looking up at my installation. I really like the different angles of the wool in this photo.

I am really pleased that I decided to use foil for the background as it gives many reflections such as this one.

I think the blues and silvers work well together in this picture.

More background ideas...

Here I think that the bright colours in the wool works well against the black paper.

I like the buisiness of this picture. This image really reminds me of the carnival with the colours and the ribbons.

I think this image works well and I think the lines of the paint are really effective here.

I think I prefer the other image with the ribbons. I feel that this seems quite busy and the lines work agains the curls from the ribbons.

I really like the ripple seen in the paper on this photo. I think it really adds something different to the picture.

More Photoshop images...

I created this image using the neon glow effect. I like it because of the bright colours.

I dont think this is as effective as some of the other images. I think this is because it hasnt got the bright colours and tones.

Here I like the simple colours and also the way this effect has blured the lines.

I like the colours here, howevere think that the image appears a bit to fuzzy.

Although this is a black and white image I like its simplicity.

I really like the neon colours used here. I think that this image would be something that I would want to include into my website.

Once again I like the bright colours in this image.

Initially I didnt like this image, however now I feel that its growing on me. Here I used the plastic effect.

Lots and lots of ribbons...

After putting all of the knitting together and photgraphing them I decided to do the same with the ribbons. I decided to put foil for the background to reflect the light.

I really like all of these images. I think the colours of the ribbons really compliment eachother.

Playing with Adobe Photoshop.....

Here I experimented with the ripple effect. I decided that I wanted to only make the ribble small so you could still the image clearly.

I really like this effect and think it works well. I like the contrast of the black against the colours of the ribbons.

Overall I think that I am going to experiment further with the filters on Adobe Photoshop.

A bit of sunshine.....

I took this picture just as the sun had come out. I like the shaddows that have been created.

Sun K Kwak: Untying Space

I was really amazed by this piece of work. I really liked the scale of the installation and the idea of movement in the drawings. I think her choice of keeping the colour scheme to a minimum is really clever as well as the focus is on the lines rather than the colour.

A happy accident...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these images. These were completly an accident as I was taking the work off the display. I then piled up all of my work together. I really like the mix of bright colours and the many different materials together.

This exhibition focuses on the tensions between perception, form and sound. The artist’s approach involves the development of material and sonic encounters with the public, creating a dialogue between the art and the participant.

I really liked this installation and the deeper thinking behind it.
